ok, so I got into Fordham for the fall, but I really want to transfer to NYU. here's my question:::

Should I try to transfer for the second semester, wait until sophomore year, or is it best to just wait until junior year to transfer since some of my HS grades weren't that strong?

and does going to a college like fordham make my chances of being able to transfer to NYU better or worse?

Fordham is a good school, having attended there would definitely increase your chances. An improvement in your grades since high school is certainly important. I'm not sure when the best time to apply would be.

in order to transfer to NYU you shoulf have 60 credits (check it again with admission office), GPA higher then 3.5, having recomendation letters from a professor with a good teaching experience is also a big plus. And don't wait until the last week to send your application, do it as soon as you can.
